ONE®, 2.0 or Wingum Plus H₂O: which system fits where?

The three Winkler systems overlap in some areas, but each has clear strengths. A compact comparison for professional roofing projects.

ONE®, 2.0 or Wingum Plus H₂O: which system fits where?

Why multiple systems?

No single membrane is automatically the best choice for every project. Substrate, moisture, ponding water, area size, application temperature, reflectivity and certification can all be decisive.

The strength of a product portfolio is therefore the ability to select the system that fits the actual project conditions.

ONE® – for demanding conditions

ONE® stands out through application from 0°C to +45°C and use on damp or wet substrates. Winkler also states rapid rain resistance, vapour permeability and compatibility with a broad range of substrates.

For renovation projects with difficult weather or moisture conditions, that is a distinctive profile.

2.0 – silicone and permanent ponding water

2.0 is a silicone-based, 100% solids membrane. Winkler positions it specifically for long-term resistance to permanent ponding water, high elasticity, UV resistance and application on substrates with up to 8% residual moisture.

Wingum Plus H₂O – large areas and reflective systems

Wingum Plus H₂O is a water-based system family strongly positioned for larger roof areas. The range includes Reflex and BROOF T2 versions, allowing reflectivity and external fire performance to be incorporated where the selected system requires it.

Quick comparison

ONE®: damp/wet substrates, broad temperature range and demanding renovation conditions.

2.0: silicone, permanent ponding water, elasticity and UV exposure.

Wingum Plus H₂O: water-based system family, large areas and reflective/BROOF options.

Which one should you choose?

This comparison is not a substitute for technical advice. For a real project, WLS first looks at the roof build-up, substrate, moisture, falls, required function and logistics. Only then do we determine which system and accessories fit.

Note: waterproofing is a system solution. Substrate, primer, reinforcement, detailing, coverage and weather conditions must always be assessed using the current technical documentation and actual project conditions.
